Muro interprets the character of aged architectural surfaces through a hand-finished concrete planter. Overlapping greys, exposed layers and controlled traces of wear create the depth of a wall shaped gradually by use, repair and time.
The layered character of weathered architecture.
The character of Muro lies in the relationship between raw concrete and the fragmented remains of previous surfaces. Broad areas of pale and darker grey are interrupted by mineral transitions, worn edges and expressive linear markings.
Its architectural finish works naturally alongside old concrete, lime plaster, blackened steel, dark timber and restrained natural textiles. The result feels weathered yet composed — a sculptural object carrying the visual memory of the surfaces that inspired it.

Raw Concrete Loft
Exposed concrete, blackened steel and darker furnishings reveal the more graphic character of Muro. Strong directional light emphasises its tonal contrasts and layered surface, giving the planter a distinctly urban and sculptural presence.

Industrial Heritage
Restored factory architecture, steel-framed windows and preserved traces of former use create a natural context for Muro. Its weathered finish echoes the history of the building, connecting contemporary form with the memory of the space.

The Muro surface is intentionally layered and irregular. Soft daylight reveals broad transitions between pale and deeper concrete tones, while directional light emphasises remnants of lighter plaster, textured areas and controlled linear markings. Their changing visibility gives the surface depth without obscuring the architectural form of the planter.

Every Muro planter is formed and finished by hand. Variations in shade, the placement of exposed layers, surface texture and linear markings are intentional elements of the finish rather than imperfections. Their composition develops individually on each piece, making every planter visually unique.

Lasting beauty begins beneath the surface. Every Donizza.art planter is engineered for long-term indoor and outdoor use, combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced material technology. Its layered construction, reinforced concrete body and protective coatings are designed to withstand moisture, frost and changing weather conditions while preserving the planter’s refined proportions and distinctive finish.
Layered GRC Construction
The structural body is created using GRC technology (Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete). A specially developed concrete composite is reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fibres and structural mesh, creating a strong yet relatively lightweight shell with enhanced resistance to cracking and mechanical stress.
Each layer is applied by hand onto a negative mould in our workshop. This controlled, multistage process allows us to achieve slim, elegant walls without compromising structural integrity.
Exterior Hydrophobic Protection
The finished surface is protected with a hydrophobic coating selected for the specific decorative finish. It reduces water absorption, limits dirt penetration and makes everyday care easier, while preserving the natural depth, texture and tonal variation of the material.
The coating does not conceal the surface. It protects its individual character, including the subtle irregularities that make every Donizza.art planter unique.
Interior Mineral Waterproofing
The interior is sealed with Ceresit CR 90, a professional mineral waterproofing slurry with crystalline properties. The coating forms a durable protective barrier that limits the penetration of water and soil moisture into the concrete structure.
By reducing prolonged moisture saturation, the internal insulation supports the planter’s resistance to freeze–thaw cycles and helps preserve its structural integrity throughout successive seasons.

Because our planters range from ready-to-ship models to bespoke artistic creations, dispatch times depend on the status of your item:
- In-Stock Planters (Ready to Ship): Dispatched within 2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Planters in Production (Pre-Order): Dispatched upon completion of handcrafted production and concrete curing, up to 14 business days.
- Custom-Made Planters (Bespoke Orders): Processing time ranges from 5 to 30 business days, as agreed upon individually during the design phase.
Transit Time: Once dispatched, courier delivery typically takes 1–3 business days, depending on your location.

Returns & Cancellations
We want you to love your art piece! However, due to the handcrafted nature of artistic concrete, specific return rules apply:
Ready-Made / Stock Planters
- 30-Day Return Window: You can return standard, non-customized items within 30 days of delivery (or within the statutory 14-day EU cooling-off period).
- Condition: Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Custom & Made-to-Order Planters
- Exclusion of Return Right: Under EU law, custom-finished, made-to-order, or personalized planters (e.g., custom colors, travertine/rust effects, specific dimensions, or drainage holes) cannot be returned or cancelled once produced, as they are tailored specifically for you.
Artistic Character Notice: Natural variations in texture, shade, micro-cracks, or sheen are organic elements of handcrafted concrete and make your planter one-of-a-kind—they are not defects!

Damaged Items & Support
In the rare event that your package is damaged during courier delivery:
- Inspect on Delivery: Please check the box exterior with the courier.
- Fill out a Damage Protocol: If you notice visible damage, fill out a Damage Protocol (protokół szkody) with the driver and take clear photos of both the box and the planter.
- Contact Us: Reach out immediately at studio@donizza.art. We carry a 24-month manufacturer warranty on material/craftsmanship defects and will make things right away!
