Form shaped by hand.
Surface shaped by time.
Objects made to belong.
We believe that the objects we surround ourselves with should be more than functional. They should carry the trace of their making, respond to architecture and bring something singular into the space.
Donizza.art creates handcrafted concrete planters at the intersection of design, material and craft.
Donizza.art was born from a fascination with material, proportion and the quiet power of well-designed objects. We see a planter not simply as a container for a plant, but as part of the architecture of a space, an object that introduces texture, rhythm and character into an interior.
That is why we do not begin with decoration.
We begin with form.
A silhouette.
A proportion.
The relationship between surface, light and shadow.
Only then does material enter the story.
Somewhere Between
There is no production line capable of creating exactly what we are looking for. Our process depends on touch, judgement and experience. Layers of concrete are applied by hand, surfaces are shaped individually, and decorative finishes are developed piece by piece.
Some surfaces are calm and almost architectural. Others carry traces of erosion, oxidised metal, weathered stone or mineral deposits shaped by time.
We work with smooth concrete, aged textures, travertine-inspired finishes, corten effects, reliefs and experimental surfaces that sit somewhere between material design and sculpture.
We are not interested in perfect repetition.
Concrete, mineral plasters and handcrafted finishes naturally create subtle differences in colour, texture and structure. Instead of eliminating them, we allow them to become part of the object.
A small variation in tone. A slightly different trace of the hand. A surface that reacts differently to light. These are not imperfections to be corrected. They are what make each piece singular.
Designed for
Donizza.art draws from architecture, contemporary interiors, natural materials and the timeless language of stone.
Our objects are created to work with restrained, carefully composed spaces — from modern organic and minimal interiors to soft lofts, contemporary residences, hospitality spaces and architectural projects.
We prefer forms that do not compete with their surroundings.
They anchor them.
A planter may remain visually quiet from a distance, yet reveal extraordinary depth when viewed up close. Texture becomes visible. Light begins to travel across the surface. Details emerge gradually.
For us, surface is never merely a finish. It is part of the identity of the object.
Concrete can feel monumental or almost soft. Travertine can introduce the atmosphere of Mediterranean architecture. Aged surfaces can suggest objects discovered rather than manufactured. Oxidised finishes bring the visual tension of metal transformed by time.
Each collection explores a different expression of material. Not through imitation alone, but through interpretation. We use traditional decorative techniques alongside contemporary material engineering, developing surfaces that feel tactile, architectural and deliberately imperfect.
Made Slowly
Creating a Donizza.art planter takes time.
The construction is built layer by layer. The material must cure. The surface must be prepared. Decorative finishes are applied, refined and protected through successive stages.
There are processes that simply cannot be accelerated without losing something important. So we do not try to make more objects faster.
We prefer to make fewer objects properly. Our planters combine reinforced concrete construction with carefully developed finishing systems designed for durability and long-term use.
We believe luxury today is less about excess and more about individuality.
Every Donizza.art planter begins with the same principles, but no two surfaces develop in exactly the same way. And that is precisely the point.
